West Virginia Artists Showcase
A collection of paintings by native Appalachians.
About Us

The West Virginia Artists Showcase began as an experiment by local artist Dara Fann. Dara noticed that there was a thriving underground art scene in West Virginia, yet the community-at-large, including budding artists and children, were not aware of amazing talents of West Virginia Artists. She soon realized that a unifying organization could bring the arts to West Virginia in a productive and inspiring way. She believed that an organization such as the West Virginia Artists Showcase would increase awareness of the art in West Virginia

Dara solicited help to establish the West Virginia Artists Showcase and within twelve short months, funding was in place to launch our virtual gallery. Fundraising and generous contributions from citizens, businesses, and artists, were instrumental in creating our virtual art gallery. The West Virginia Artists Showcase was not established to replace local galleries and arts groups. The West Virginia Artists Showcase wanted to provide a virtual presence to help local artists thrive, and unlock the artistic potential of every West Virginia resident.

The West Virginia Artists Showcase is always looking for new volunteers. Visit our Contact us page if you are interested in volunteering, or call (304) 369-4627.
